Yes, I like a little bit of country. But everyone will like this guy. Paul Brandt, made famous by the wedding song “I Do,” has released another great album, This Time Around. I had the privilege of meeting Paul Brandt shortly after I started liking his music. It was a small concert, held in a Cracker Barrel restaurant in upstate New York. Even though there were only a few listening at any given time, Paul sang like thousands of fans were listening. You can hear it in his voice; every song is sung with passion. Unlike some artists that cut songs just to fill up an album with only maybe three good singles, Paul’s albums are full of potential singles. Check out “Home,” “Leavin,” with Keith Urban, and “Rich Man.” You won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t heard “I Do,” then check out Calm Before the Storm. - SC
